Satyajit Sengupta to join HT Media as Executive Director - Revenue

Satyajit Sengupta is set to join Hindustan Times Media Ltd. as Executive Director - Revenue, per reports. Sengupta will report to Samudra Bhattacharya, CEO of the Print Business Unit.

Sengupta brings a wealth of experience in media sales and marketing to his new role. He joins Hindustan Times Media Ltd. after a successful tenure at Dainik Bhaskar Group, where he served as Chief Corporate Sales and Marketing Officer since 2017. During his time at Dainik Bhaskar, he was based in Mumbai and reported directly to the company’s director, Girish Agarwal.  

Prior to his role at Dainik Bhaskar, Sengupta held significant positions at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group). He served as Associate Vice President and Metro Head in Gurgaon, where he led revenue generation for all Times Group publications.  

Sengupta also spent over four years at the India Today Group as Deputy Branch Head Impact, managing ad sales for the northern region. He began his career at Indian Express in 1998.  

With his extensive background in the media industry, Sengupta is expected to play a key role in driving revenue growth for Hindustan Times Media Ltd.
