Scarecrow bags brand Margo; Appoints Bhavik Gajjar as CD

In a recent development, Scarecrow Communications Ltd has been given the responsibility for Margo Brand as its communication agency.

Margo is now a part of Henkel India's product portfolio and was launched by Calcutta Chemicals in 1920. It has products in the laundry, home care, cosmetics, toiletries and hair care segments. Henkel India's other brands include Pril, Henko, Fa, Mr. White and Chek, among other. Margo has been positioned as an anti-bacterial skin care soap, with neem oil as its main ingredient for many years till 2009, when the brand revamped itself. Currently it is available in new packaging and shape. Owing to the unparalleled delivery of this equity through its range of toilet soaps, Margo today is among the widely known brands in India, with a loyal consumer base.
