SET Max to rake up more money from IPL ad revenue
The official broadcasters of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament, SET Max has raked in over Rs 650 crore for IPL-3, which is 30 per cent higher than it got in IPL-2.
According to the reports, the channel, which has already scored high in IPL-2 is riding high. The channel has partenerd with two co-sponsors - Vodafone and Videocon.
Each sponsor is reportedly squeezing out about 40 crore each. Apart from this Set Max will have 10 associate sponsors, of which eight have been signed up. Pepsi, Samsung, LG and Hyundai are among the associate sponsors.
In the semis and finals of IPL-1, advertisers had to shell out close to Rs 8 L for a 10 Sec Ad spot. In IPL-2 the cost increased to almost Rs 10 L for a 10 Sec Ad spot and industry experts believe that in IPL-3 the same to reach, close to Rs 12 L or may be more
