Shantanu Naidu Joins Tata Motors, reflects on personal connection

Shantanu Naidu, who has been a close aide to Ratan Tata, has recently taken on the role of General Manager and Head of Strategic Initiatives at Tata Motors. According to his LinkedIn post, Shantanu expressed his excitement about this new chapter, reflecting on his personal connection to the company. He shared a nostalgic memory of his father walking home from the Tata Motors plant, wearing his white shirt and navy pants, as Shantanu eagerly awaited his return from the window. "It comes full circle now," he added.

Shantanu Naidu holds an engineering degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which he earned in 2014, and later completed an MBA at Cornell University in 2016. His professional relationship with Ratan Tata extended beyond work, with Naidu serving as the late industrialist's confidant and manager.
