Sony sets high hopes from IPL 3

Sony Entertainment Television, which has now changed to Multi Screen Media is looking at a big ad revenue from the third season of the Indian Premier League.

According to the reports, the media gaint is eyeing advertising revenue of Rs 7 billion, an al most 50 per cent jump from the year-ago period. There are stories that the company has already sold the sponsorship slots.

As per statements in media, the company has confirmed that it has sold 80 per cent of its inventory and has also completed 10 sponsorship slots. HUL, Godrej, and Tata Photon are the associate sponsors. Whereas Videocon and Vodafone are co-presenting sponsors.

The company has also roped in brands like Samsung, Cadila, Whirlpool and Raymonds as the sponsors for Extraa Innings wraparound show.
