Spark Foundry revamps leadership, Snags key Omnicom talent
A shake-up in the media agency world sees Spark Foundry, under Publicis Media, making some significant power moves. The agency has drawn in Kelly Metz, a recent departure from OMD where she held the chief investment officer role. Metz is set to take on the same title at Spark Foundry, tasked with shaping the agency's investment strategy across the board. This comes as Lisa Giacosa, previously holding that position at Spark Foundry, transitions into a new role focusing on global clients and agency transformation.
Adding to the shift, Anthony Dario, another figure from Omnicom Media Group, joins Spark Foundry's video investment team. He'll be leading national video buys, bringing his experience from his time as managing director of enterprise partnerships. This flurry of hires follows OMD's own recent recruitment of talent from Publicis Groupe, highlighting a dynamic movement of executives between major agencies.
Beyond investment, Spark Foundry is also building out its design capabilities, bringing in Kendra Hatcher King from Accenture Song. King, a Publicis alum, is set to lead the charge in creating a new design practice within the agency. Essentially, Spark Foundry is making a clear play to strengthen its core teams with experienced leaders from across the industry.
