SRK pledges his support for the Save the Girl Child initiative. Spellbinds the Nagpurits at the Yuva Next Club event.
The city of Nagpur was captivated by the charisma of the suave Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday, December 14th when he came calling to address the youth in a function organized by the members of Yuva Next Club for ‘Save the girl child’ initiative. Accompanied by the producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani and president of Lokmat Sakhi Manch, Ms Jyotsna Darda, Shah Rukh was an eye-sight for his fans.
Shah Rukh Khan addressed the youth in the function of Lokmat Media Ltd.’s Yuva Next Club that witnessed an audience from the districts of Vidharbha including the naxal affected Gadhchiroli and school students were present in huge numbers along with dignitaries of Nagpur.
Speaking on the occasion, SRK said, “I dedicate all my fame to the leading ladies who’ve worked with me over these 20 years. They have contributed equally in the success of the films but it is unfortunate that our society does not give women equal credence. I have been very fortunate to act with actresses ranging from Divya Bharati to Deepika Padukone. I respect each and every woman.”
Speaking about his forthcoming action-packed Don 2, the Baadshah maintained that the film is a fresh piece of innovation and said, “The earlier version of Don had its limitations being a remake. But the latest offering is completely new and fresh.”
SRK who is also a huge sports enthusiast was all praises for the Nagpur Premier League of Football, an initiative of Lokmat Media Ltd, spoke about football being his favourite game and secretly wishes his son grows to be a national footballer.
Before signing off, the ‘lady charmer’ belted out his most famous dialogue, “Don ke peeche gyarah mulkon ki police padi hai ...par Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai!”
