Star Gold & Star Gold HD announces the World Television Premiere of HERO on 8th November

Love. Rebellion. Freedom. Gear up for a weekend filled with myriad emotions, thrilling action and chart busting music​ as Star Gold & Star Gold HD premiere ‘HERO’ produced by Salman Khan and directed by Nikhil Advani and featuring stars of tomorrow, Sooraj Pancholi & Athiya Shetty. The remake of the 80’s super hit will make it’s television debut on 8^th November at 12.30pm. 

The contemporary version of the 80’s blockbuster has Sooraj Pancholi playing the tattooed bad boy with the heart of Robin Hood and Athiya Shetty a charming classic dancer. Sooraj pretends to be a police officer and kidnaps Athiya, who believes is sent by her father to protect her, later realising that she has actually been kidnaped. In the course of their journey the victim and kidnapper fall in love. But it’s not a happy ending for the two till Sooraj sheds his bad boy image to win the approval of his ladylove’s father. 

​Sooraj Pancholi exuded charm in every frame and Athiya played Radha with utmost conviction. Powerful portrayals, breath taking action sequences and a beautiful sound track make this film a Hero  in every way.  Adding to the entertainment quotient, the audiences will get to see  the entire chartbuster 'Main Hoon Hero Tera' in the film's premiere for the first time on the Indian television.
