Star Plus Anthem ' "Tu hi Tu', an ode to the women of India
Conceptualized by Ogilvy Mumbai, "Tu Hi Tu' is truly an ultimate tribute to the woman of India. Perfectly crafted words combine with exquisitely shot visuals to reflect the changing perspectives of the woman of the nation. It effortlessly captures Star Plus' philosophy of "Rishta Wahi. Soch Nayi.'
"The song was first written by Piyush, after which we thought of the visuals. We wanted it to be an ode to women. Star Plus has all its programmes revolved around women from all walks of life. Star Plus is women centric in its programming and we wanted to depict them and thank them," said Anup Chitnis, Executive Creative Director,O&M.
He further said, "The woman in the song is portraying women from all classes and sections of the societies. There was no brief as such because the song's inspiration came to Piyush first and hence the words flowed."
The film has received overwhelming response. "The viewers have loved it and it has just been great," further stated Chitnis.
The film is doing its rounds in all social networking sites and is a topic of discussion in many conversations.
Today's woman is deeply rooted to the values and traditions despite the fact that she has reached new heights with her achievements. The film reflects varied shades of a woman and beautifully brings out the diverse roles that she plays for her family and the society. From the warmth of a mother to the playfulness of a wife, from being a dutiful daughter to being an independent, aspiring individual, from being Mother Teresa to Jhansi ki Rani, the film is a perfect ode to the woman of India. | By Janees Antoo [janees(at)adgully.com]
