Star Plus launches a show for North America

The hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus from the Star Stable is all set to launch two weekly shows in North America to cater exclusively to local audiences.

The two shows are named ICC Cricket World and Asian Variety Show. ICC Cricket World will be launched on January 16 to showcase the best of cricket each week, followed by Asian Variety Show on February 7 that will allow Star viewers to get a weekly peek at local events and Bollywood related news. The show will be aired every Saturday at 8.30 pm.

AVS is the first Desi programmes produced in America. It will showcase Bollywood entertainment stories - Bollywood music, movie previews, star interviews with a local focus and programming for Non-resident Indians.

The show will air on every Saturday at 8:30pm.
