Stayfree Joins GoFloRun to Champion Menstrual Health
Stayfree - one of India’s leading brands in menstrual hygiene partnered with the GoFloRun 2024, an inspiring women’s marathon celebrating women’s health and empowerment. The inaugural GoFloRun saw Neha Dhupia, an eminent actress and fitness advocate, Anita Lobo, a visionary entrepreneur along with hundreds/scores of women across age groups as they united to break stigmas surrounding women’s health with a special focus on menstrual hygiene.
Stayfree joined GoFloRun movement to support, uplift and empower women, taking another step towards normalizing period conversations. At the event, Stayfree hosted educational sessions, organised fun activities as well as engaged with participants giving them an experience of its range of menstrual solutions that help in providing comfortable protection and freedom, so that they can make informed choices that best suit their needs. To further the Stayfree’s purpose, women Kenvuers (Stayfree is a brand by Kenvue) also participated in the run.
Speaking about the initiative, Manoj Gadgil, Business Unit Head-Essential Health and Skin Health and Vice President, Marketing, Kenvue said, "The GoFloRun is a remarkable initiative which champions menstrual health and fitness representing women who choose to lead active lives even during their periods. For us at Stayfree, this was not about how many cross the finish line, it was about how many take the first step – towards normalising periods and pursuing their passion freely without shame, fear and discomfort of periods. Through our association with GoFloRun, we take another step in this direction and provide women the freedom to choose menstrual solutions that helps keep them comfortable on their period days. We are delighted with the enthusiastic participation from women across all age groups who joined us for this special run.”
As a run up to the marathon, GoFlo along with Stayfree hosted educational sessions in schools and colleges across Mumbai. These sessions educated young girls and boys about menstrual health as well as addressed common myths and stigmas associated with periods, encouraging girls from a young age to feel comfortable about periods.
