Sudhanshu Vats appointed Pidilite MD, Kavinder Singh named Joint MD

Pidilite Industries Ltd., a leading manufacturer of adhesives and specialty chemicals, has announced a significant change in its leadership. In a Board Meeting held on April 1, 2025, the company's Board of Directors approved the appointment of Sudhanshu Vats as the new Managing Director (MD) and Kavinder Singh as the Joint Managing Director (Joint MD). These appointments will become effective on April 10, 2025.  

The leadership transition follows the completion of the ten-year tenure of Bharat Puri, who has served as Pidilite's MD since April 10, 2015. The Board of Directors expressed their sincere gratitude for Puri's extensive contributions to the company's growth and success over the past decade, during which Pidilite achieved substantial progress and delivered significant value to its shareholders.  

In recognition of his dedicated service and leadership, the Board has appointed Bharat Puri to the role of Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director for a three-year term, commencing on April 10, 2025, and concluding on April 9, 2028.  

Commenting on the leadership changes, M B Parekh, Executive Chairman of Pidilite, conveyed his appreciation for Bharat Puri's decade of leadership as Managing Director. He noted the substantial progress and shareholder value created under Puri's guidance. Parekh further stated that the appointments of Sudhanshu Vats and Kavinder Singh as MD and Joint MD signify the next chapter in Pidilite's leadership journey, and he expressed his anticipation of collaborating with them to shape the future of the company.

With Sudhanshu Vats and Kavinder Singh poised to take the helm, Pidilite is gearing up for a new era focused on continued growth and innovation. The company aims to further solidify its market-leading position in the adhesives, construction chemicals, and specialty chemicals sectors under their leadership.
