Sun TV Q3 FY2024 total income up 6.63% at Rs 1,014.81 crore

Sun TV Network has reported a growth of 6.63% in its total income at Rs 1,014.81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as against Rs 951.71 crore for the corresponding quarter ended December 31, 2022, while revenues were up 3.26% at Rs 885.48 crore as against Rs 857.51 crore for Q3 FY2023.

The Profit Before Tax went up by 6.18% to Rs 591.31 crore for the current quarter as against Rs 556.91 crore during the previous quarter ended December 31, 2022, while Profit after Taxes for Q3 FY2024 was up by 5.05% to Rs 437.34 crore as against Rs 416.32 crore for the corresponding quarter ended December 31, 2022.

Highlights for Q3 FY2024:

• Total Income up 6.63 % at ~Rs 1,014.81 crore
• Revenues up 3.26 % at ~Rs 885.48 crore
• Profit after Taxes up 5.05 % at ~Rs 437.34 crore

Meanwhile, based on the recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors have approved the re-appointment of Rajaraman Mahesh Kumar as Managing Director, and Krishnaswamy Vijaykumar and Kaviya Kalanithi Maran as Executive Directors of the company for further period of five years with effect from April , 2024, subject to approval of the shareholders by way of postal ballot.
