Surbhi Nagpal to Lead Sales for Wion and Zee Business

Zee Media has appointed Surbhi Nagpal as National Sales Head for its news channels, Wion and Zee Business. Based in Noida, Nagpal will be responsible for driving revenue generation, optimizing sales operations, and enhancing the profitability of both channels.

With over 20 years of experience in both linear and digital sales across prominent media organizations, Nagpal brings a wealth of expertise to Zee Media. Her career journey includes key roles at NDTV India, Outbrain, Discovery Communications India, and Disney+ Hotstar, where she demonstrated a strong track record of success in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.

Prior to her media career, Nagpal began her professional journey at Taj Hotels in Delhi, where she quickly rose to the position of Deputy Manager Sales within four years. She then gained valuable experience at American Express before venturing into the television industry with NDTV India.

Nagpal's impressive resume includes senior roles at NDTV Lifestyle, where she served as Vice President Sales, and Star India, where she led the National Head of International Business. She also held the position of National Vertical Head for FMCG (F&B) at Disney+ Hotstar before joining Discovery Communications as Director Sales.

Nagpal's deep understanding of the media landscape, coupled with her ability to navigate the evolving market dynamics, makes her a valuable asset to Zee Media. Her leadership will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of Wion and Zee Business in the competitive media market.
