Swati Sapna Appointed Director of Unscripted Content at Netflix India

Swati Sapna has been promoted to the position of Director of Unscripted Content at Netflix India, as announced on her LinkedIn profile. In her new role, she will oversee content and strategy for Unscripted shows and Documentaries while continuing her additional responsibilities as the commissioning executive for South Indian original series. Before this promotion, Swati served as the Manager for Unscripted & South Originals at Netflix.

Expressing her excitement on LinkedIn, Swati said, "I’m thrilled to step into the role of Director, Unscripted at Netflix India. Over the past five years, I’ve been fortunate to experience incredible learning, collaboration, and support from my colleagues and partners. Swati joined Netflix in 2020 and has since played a significant role in shaping the company’s content strategy for the Unscripted and South Originals segments. With over two decades of experience across film, television, advertising, and digital content, Swati brings a wealth of expertise, including more than 10 years in leadership positions.
