Swiss watch initiator RAYMOND WEIL unveiled 'maestro Balancier'
"Maestro" comes from the Italian language andmeans "master", a person who excels in his artistic practice. The most famous one, Leonardo da Vinci, created the Vitruvian man, whose drawing is based on the correlations of ideal human proportions with geometry described by the ancient Roman architect Vitruvius. Vitruvius described the human figure as being the principal source of proportion among the Classical orders of architecture. With this collection, RAYMOND WEIL once again demonstrates that classicism, harmony and creativity go together in a sublime quintessence.
The maestro collection is RAYMOND WEIL's only fully mechanical collection and offers to connoisseurs the opportunity to see the mechanical movement beating at the heart of the watch thanks to its transparent case-back.
In the maestro Balancier, the automatic movement can be observed as well through an opening in the silver dial of the time-piece at 12 o'clock. A detail for watch lovers: it allows the owner to remain always in connection with the pulse of his timepiece. The mechanical RW 4200 movement with automatic winding provides a power reserve of 38 hours.
The maestro Balancieris equipped with a round stainless steel case, a 39.5mm diameter dial embellished with blue-tinted, leaf-shaped hands and a black alligator style leather strap with ardillon buckle. Theblack Roman numerals and the "Clou de Paris" motif in the center add elegance to the whole ensemble.
A subtle blend of style, tradition and refinement: that's the RAYMOND WEIL maestroBalancier.
