Tempest Advertising Joins JLPL, Acquires Team for Women’s Cricket League

Encouraging sports among women, Tempest Advertising participated in the player auction of JITO Ladies Premier League and now proudly owns one of the six teams by bidding for the best players on Friday morning.

The bidding took place in groups that saw players from the age of 20 to 45 and above. Each team was also assigned a star player who has played cricket at national level across the country to share their expertise and guide in the bidding process.

The sportive spirit was palpable in the air with all women getting charged up for the upcoming premier league.

 Matches will begin on December 22 and the six teams are all set to compete with full enthusiasm and competitiveness.

This marks the beginning of the third season of JLPL which saw a participation of over 60 players and a large group of women coming together to change the narrative of sports for women.
