The #DecimlInfluesters takes an interesting turn

DECIML, a micro-investing fintech platform aimed at inculcating the habit of investing among youngsters, recently unveiled their influencer-investors through a series of videos. The videos highlighted how influencers like Zakir Khan, Ranveer Allahbadia, Suhani Shah and Varun Thakur came on board as investors in Deciml, even though they were approached to simply promote the product. They even ended up coining a new term for themselves - influesters.

However, it has come to light today that Deciml’s act of getting stand up comics onboard as investors has angered some OG business and finance influencers, particularly Vaibhav Sisinty and Prafull Billore. The two of them have recently released a video outlining their grievances with the spare change investment app. You can watch the video here

When approached for a comment, Deciml founder and CEO Satyajeet Kunjeer said, “I don’t understand what’s happening… all of this attention for my app? Crazy! I just wanted influencers!”

The creative agency that has conceptualised and written the campaign is Bare Bones Collective. Writers include Girish Narayandass, Anuya Jakatdar and Sainee Raj. The excitement is about to reach astronomical levels. Stay tuned!
