 Elise is sitting in a Parisian café being closely monitored by Scotland Yard and Russian thugs. A stranger hands her a letter instructing her to board the train to Venice and find a man who will act as a decoy. Onve abroad, she encounters Frank, an American tourist, who is smitten by her charm and is manipulated into having dinner with her in Venice. The perfect trap is set: the Russians mistake him for Pierce who stole billions from the mobster whereas Scotland Yard is in his pursuit under the same assumption of his identity. Will the real Alexander Pierce be exposed ?
