The health tech industry in 2025 is set for unprecedented growth: One Health Assist

The health tech industry in India is experiencing a rapid transformation, driven by advancements in AI, wearables, and IoT. In 2024, the focus is shifting towards preventive care, personalized wellness, and integrating mental health, fitness, and nutrition into a seamless digital experience. This dynamic shift is making health solutions more accessible, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, where platforms are now offering localized, mobile-first solutions to cater to emerging markets. The industry is also witnessing an uptick in the adoption of data-driven insights and gamified wellness tools that encourage user engagement.

In this interview with Adgully, Divya Dixit, Chief Growth Officer, and Davinder Bhasin, Founder of One Health Assist, share their perspectives on the ongoing trends in the health tech space. They delve into the strategies behind One Health Assist’s growth, including their innovative #MissionFitPossible campaign, which aims to make wellness both achievable and rewarding. Additionally, they discuss how wearable tech, AI, and data security are shaping the future of digital health platforms.

What inspired the concept of #MissionFitPossible, and how does it aim to make wellness more accessible and rewarding for users?

Divya Dixit: #MissionFitPossible is all about understanding how tough it can be to stick to wellness goals. Let’s face it—staying consistent, finding motivation, and not seeing results instantly can make the whole process frustrating. At One Health Assist, we realized that lasting wellness isn’t just about knowing what’s good for you; it’s about making the journey enjoyable and worth it. That’s why we came up with a plan that rewards you along the way.

#MissionFitPossible blends science-backed tips with fun milestones, celebrating every little win. It’s not about overwhelming you but nudging you to make small, healthy choices that add up. The goal? Turning fitness from a distant dream into something achievable—and fun!

What are the key trends you’ve observed in the health tech industry, particularly in India, during 2024?

Davinder Bhasin: The health tech space in India in 2024 has been on fire, and some trends are hard to miss. Like, AI-driven preventive care is leading the charge—it’s all about predicting health risks early and offering super-personalized advice based on one’s fitness, health history, and goals. It’s like having a personal health coach powered by AI!

Wearables and IoT devices? They’re everywhere. People now track everything—heart rate, sleep, stress, water intake, you name it—in real time. This constant stream of data helps platforms like ours create detailed health profiles to keep preventive care on point.

Then there’s the rise of virtual wellness ecosystems—one-stop solutions that bring telemedicine, workout plans, mental health support, and diet advice together. It’s holistic, convenient, and exactly what today’s users want.

What’s really interesting is how platforms are breaking into smaller cities. With mobile-first designs, local languages, and culturally relevant content, health tech is now reaching tier-2 and tier-3 cities, making wellness accessible for everyone. Lastly, stricter data privacy rules are stepping up the trust game. With better safeguards in place, users feel safer sharing their health data. All these trends are coming together to make health tech in India more personalized, inclusive, and prevention-focused than ever.

What factors have driven the platform’s growth this year, and how has the #MissionFitPossible campaign contributed to that?

Divya Dixit: One Health Assist is all about simplifying preventive healthcare and making it personal. We offer everything from personalized health insights to diagnostic tests, pet care, and even an online health shop. Our standout feature? The Health Locker—it’s like having your entire medical history and health score (based on your vitals, diagnostics, and mental wellness) in your pocket. Our concept and approach towards providing holistic healthcare has helped our customers understand us better.

Now, #MissionFitPossible has been another important step for us. It’s not just a campaign; it’s a movement to inculcate a habit of tracking your health daily. As, we know Instagram is known for its virality and trends, we thought of making fitness fun and not a chore. Think Coldplay tickets for hitting 10k steps—who wouldn’t want that?

Again, it’s not just about prizes. Our quirky social media campaigns and interactive wellness challenges have struck a chord with people. They’re relatable, aspirational, and packed with personality—standing out in a sea of generic health apps. Add in our data-driven approach, which tailors recommendations to each user, and we’re giving people exactly what they need to stay on track.

At the core of it all, we’re about making wellness a journey worth taking. With creativity, cutting-edge tech, and a deep understanding of what people want, we’ve built a community that’s excited to take charge of their health. And that’s what’s fueling our growth.

What percentage of your overall budget is allocated to marketing and ad spends, and how has it evolved in 2024?

Divya Dixit: We focus on ensuring an equitable spread across digital and offline channels to maximize reach and engagement. This approach allows us to stay flexible and adapt to what works best, ensuring impactful results across our campaigns.

How do you navigate competition in a space dominated by both health tech startups and large-scale fitness apps?

Davinder Bhasin: In a competitive market dominated by both emerging startups and established fitness apps, our focus has been on addressing wellness holistically. Unlike platforms that focus exclusively on fitness, we take a broader approach—integrating preventive care, mental wellness, nutrition management, and personalized health guidance into a single cohesive experience. This ensures that users not only meet their fitness goals but also adopt healthier, more sustainable lifestyles that positively impact their overall well-being.

Our ability to leverage AI and data analytics to deliver actionable, hyper-personalized insights sets us apart, empowering users to make informed decisions at every step of their wellness journey. By prioritizing trust, transparency, and measurable results, we ensure that our community sees us as a long-term partner in their health goals rather than just another app.

What consumer strategies are being employed to increase the adoption of health platforms in tier-2 and tier-3 cities?

Divya Dixit: As a young and predominantly digital-first brand, our strategies for increasing adoption in tier-2 and tier-3 markets center on accessibility and relevance. By designing a mobile-first platform with regional language support, we ensure that users in these areas can seamlessly access wellness tools, regardless of connectivity challenges.

Localized campaigns, Local collaboration and the use of relatable content also play a vital role in building trust and awareness. By focusing on simplicity, inclusivity, and affordability, we aim to make wellness solutions more approachable for users in emerging markets.

How critical is data security in health tech, and how does the industry ensure compliance with evolving regulations?

Davinder Bhasin: Data security is the foundation of trust in health tech, and at One Health Assist, we take this responsibility with the utmost seriousness. We adhere to globally recognized data privacy standards while ensuring compliance with evolving local regulations like India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Our platform implements advanced encryption, rigorous security audits, and robust governance frameworks to safeguard user information at every touchpoint.

Additionally, One Health Assist is proud to hold certifications that validate our commitment to quality, security, and transparency. By empowering users to control their data and fostering a culture of accountability, we continue to set benchmarks for security within the health tech space.

What role will wearable tech and IoT devices play in the growth of digital wellness platforms?

Davinder Bhasin: Wearable tech and IoT devices are redefining digital wellness by providing users with real-time, actionable health insights. These devices track key health metrics—such as heart rate, activity levels, and sleep patterns—that help users make informed, proactive decisions. For platforms like ours, this data is invaluable in driving AI-powered personalization, ensuring users receive tailored guidance that aligns with their specific health goals.

Additionally, wearable devices play a crucial role in promoting preventive care, as they enable the early detection of health anomalies. Their integration with gamified features, such as rewards for achieving milestones, also fosters higher engagement and adherence. As adoption continues to grow, wearable technology will remain central to delivering accessible, data-driven wellness solutions.

What are your expectations for the health tech industry in 2025, particularly in terms of growth potential and consumer adoption?

Divya Dixit: The health tech industry in 2025 is set for unprecedented growth, driven by rising consumer demand for preventive and personalized care solutions. With advancements in AI, wearable technology, and virtual wellness ecosystems, health tech platforms will play a transformative role in addressing both urban and emerging markets.

We anticipate greater collaboration between health tech providers, insurers, and wellness companies, creating integrated solutions that improve accessibility and affordability. The adoption of digital platforms will continue to grow, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, as regional inclusion becomes a key priority. In 2025, health tech will not only deliver convenience, but also empower users with data-driven insights, bridging the gap between healthcare and everyday wellness.
