Top 10 Marathi countdown exclusively on 92.7 BIG FM

As Mumbai wakes up each Sunday morning to an excellent beginning with its Marathi show "Masala Chaha', between 6 and 8am, exclusively on 92.7 BIG FM, they are now in for a bigger treat! The Station, known to offer unmatched, unparalleled and quality programming to its listeners, is offering the Marathi manus for the first time ever, "The BIG Marathi Top 10' countdown on the station.

The "BIG Marathi Top 10' promises to take the discerning Mumbaikar through the top 10 songs of the week from the Marathi music industry. The Station has ensured a careful system to evaluate the songs and ensure only the best make it to the Top 10. The songs are selected from songs released over 6-8 weeks. So these would cover, movies released the last week, the current week and the up-coming song breaks. To ensure mass appeal and public demand, popularity of songs is mapped online, customer trends are explored through music store visits and album sales mapped, listener feedback on songs of their preference, interactions through home visits and more.

"Masala Chaha' breaks up in two parts by promising first one hour on devotional songs. This segment gives Mumbaikars a celestial taste of Marathi aratis, bhajans, bhang and bhavgeete promising the Mumbaikar a virtuous morning. In addition to the "BIG Marathi Top 10', the show is packed with regional issues and local happenings, this section will also see Marathi actors, theatre personalities, musicians and celebrities for interviews and more.
