Triptii Dimri on Bollywood journey and 'Animal' at Conclave 2024

Bollywood actor Triptii Dimri graced the stage at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2024 on September 25, where she shared insights into her journey in the Hindi film industry. Known for her standout role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 blockbuster Animal, Triptii spoke during the session, "Struggles to Stardom: The Untold Story of My Bollywood Breakthrough."

Reflecting on the overwhelming love from fans since her rise to fame, she candidly shared, "Honestly, I was not prepared for it. I was used to the life I was living, and it took me a while to understand what was happening. The love you get from your fans is a special feeling."
Triptii also emphasized her careful approach to choosing roles, stating that she avoids taking on projects out of desperation. She revealed how she came on board for Animal and why she was drawn to portraying the character of Zoya.

Why Triptii Dimri Chose to Star in Animal

Discussing her decision to feature in Animal, Triptii said, "I don’t like staying in my comfort zone. After films like Bulbul and Qala, I found that comfort, but with Animal, I saw a real challenge. As an actor, it’s important to take on something that pushes you. When Sandeep sir described Zoya to me, I felt that combination of fear and excitement. She seemed both brave and innocent, which intrigued me."

She also responded to criticism her character received, stating that she stands by her portrayal of Zoya. "As humans, we have different shades—good, bad, and even ugly. Films allow us to explore these. Acting gives us a chance to experience different lives, and I consider myself lucky to live through so many in one lifetime," Triptii added.

The actor also shared valuable advice from her acting coach, which helped her connect better with the characters she plays. "He told me not to judge the character and treat them as human beings. Since then, I’ve learned to approach each role with empathy and understanding."
At the Conclave, Triptii Dimri showcased not only her talent but also her thoughtful approach to acting, revealing that she’s always looking for roles that push her boundaries.
