Truecaller, the Swedish software company known for its caller identification and spam-blocking app, has announced that Rishit Jhunjhunwala will step into the role of CEO on January 9, 2025, according to media reports. Although they’ll no longer be involved in day-to-day management, both founders will stay engaged with Truecaller as board members and advisors, ensuring continuity in the company’s strategic direction.
The announcement aligns with a period of strong growth for Truecaller, which reported a notable 15% increase in quarterly net sales year-over-year, reaching 457 million Swedish crowns (around $42.21 million).
