TV artists share their Christmas plans!

So Christmas is here...As a kid, it used to be days of surprises and anxiously waiting for Santa Claus fulfilling our wishes...This festival no doubt rings in with immense happiness, joy and festivity. On this occassion, TV celebs share their Christmas memories and plans...

Sharad Kelkar - My idea of Christmas, whether old fashioned or modern is to love others. I don’t understand why we wait for Christmas to do that. Every Christmas, I buy cakes for the less fortunate and the smile on their faces is the ultimate gift for me

Mahima Makwana - Christmas for me is about thanking the Lord for what he has given me. It is all about celebrating the birth of Jesus and the happiness he brings into our lives. On this festival of joy and prosperityI pray for all my fans that may god give us the strength to be stronger

Ratan Rajput - Christmas is all about the beginning of a new year for me. All the kids in my house are so excited for Christmas and I enjoy seeing them happy.

Aditi Sharma - Every year on Christmas me and my friends have a get together in the house wearing Santa caps and baking cakes together. We go to the Mount Mary Church in Bandra. I wish to plan something for the street kids this Christmas as it is a festival for kids and they are some not very fortunate like others

Vishal Vashishth - Christmas has been good for me all these years. This Christmas is special to me because of my role in Gangaa and will be celebrated on the sets of the show. I hope this Christmas brings me lots of love from my fans. Merry Christmas!

Saumya Tandon  - Christmas for me is buying gifts for my niece and nephew, writing letters to them from Santa and getting their Christmas cake. The smile on their faces thinking it is from Santa, melts my heart. The thought that when the kids realize  the gifts are not from Santa  is what I fear. I wish there would be a real Santa to have my huge wishlist fulfilled.

Karan Kundra - The best thing I love about Christmas is that people are more kind and open hearted. We give and receive gifts which is reminder that humanity still exists. Every Christmas, I pray to god for the well-being and happiness of those who do not have anybody to pray for them

Amit Tandon-I am going to decorate Christmas tree with my daughter and I will buy gifts for my daughter because I am her Papa Santa. My fondest Christmas memories were the snow fights with my cousins. We used to play with snow in New York. We used to wear heavy layers of clothes. It was always fun playing in the extreme cold and we used to have nice cup of hot chocolate.

Vivek Mishra - Christmas for me is about cakes, jingle bell and singing carols. I still believe in Santa but as it is said it comes with a clause so work hard and give happiness to yourself is the biggest gift.

Roma Navani - My mom is Punjabi but a converted Christian so we have a huge Christmas celebration. We go to church and we decorate our house with lights. We also decorate Christmas tree. We have been doing this since childhood. My fondest memory during Christmas as when I used to visit my Nani's place and she used to make awesome food.

Amal Sehrawat - I celebrate Christmas with my family and close friends. I mostly go out for dinner. I enjoy the decoration and lights all over. My fondest memory during Christmas was once I became a Santa for kids. The moment they saw me all of them were over me. Kids were enjoying with me, dancing with me, telling their wishes and finally they all locked the door and didn't allow me to leave. It was HO HO HO Christmas for me!

Sudeep Sahir - My Fondest memory was hanging my socks in my room and I used to fight in my dream just to catch a glimpse of Santa. I used to wake up early in the morning and used to check my socks to find gift. It was all so exciting then and now I see the same excitement in my son he decorates our Christmas tree and keeps asking about Santa every day.

Jaswir Kaur - I love dressing up for Christmas party, attending get together or just going out for dinner. My fondest Christmas memory was at my friends place in Pune with my family as they are from UK.

Vipul Roy - It is one of the most beautiful day.I visit Mount Mary Church on 24th night with prayer for peace and harmony. I donate food and clothes to the needy people and also celebrate with a party.We play secret Santa. Everyone gets gifts and leave it on the table but no one know who got what gift for whom and there is a  gift for everyone.

Shivin Narang - I am planning to get a Christmas tree at my place, decorate it and I will have a Christmas party at my place. My fondest memory was I used to decorate tree at my home. I used to have Christmas cake .I used to get up early at 25th morning and I used to check my gift.

Saurabh Pandey - My fondest memory was I used to always celebrate Christmas with all my friends and cousins. I used to dress like Santa Claus and distribute lots of chocolate to everyone present in the party. Now I go to Mount Mary Church  in Bandra every Christmas and it is a beautiful experience.

Raman Handa - I used to dress up like Santa Claus and I used to go to all the neighbours house to wish them Merry Christmas. I used to sing jingles and dance all over. This year I will decorate my house with lights and Christmas tree.I will gift sweets, cakes and toys to children.

Ssharad Malhotraa - I bring Christmas tree and lights at my place. I decorate my house and Christmas tree. My friends come at my place and we cut the cake. On 24th night I go to Mount Merry Church .My fondest Christmas memory was when I was child my dad used to give me gift and I used to think that Santa Claus gifted me. So my dad used to be my Santa Claus.

Delnaaz Irani - I celebrate Christmas with my family. My elder brother and his family lives at London so it is like a reunion. We all meet each other and party together

Vishal Singh - I have a beautiful Christmas tree at my place and I celebrate Christmas with my family and friends. My fondest Christmas memory is my friend gifted me a thing that I always wanted.

Ankit Gera - I will celebrate Christmas with my family and friends.I decorate my house and through a small party for my family and close friends.I would also donate some clothes and sweets to the needy people. When I was in school every year Christmas was memorable for me.

Rashami Desai - I will celebrate Christmas with my family. Every year I bake cake so this year also I will definitely bake a cake.My fondest childhood memory was when I was taken to church for a midnight mass by my school to experience Christmas.

Aishwarya Sakuja - We celebrate Christmas with our Christian friends and play secret Santa and eat lots of plum cakes.Every Christmas is special for me because I celebrate it with my friends.

Mrunal Jain - I will celebrate Christmas with my family and close friends.I would go to meet my Christian friends and will enjoy with them.My fondest Christmas memory was  in school when we had a party and I fresh chocolate cake.Every  year I used to enjoy my Christmas party.

Mohammad Nazim - I will celebrate Christmas with my friends and I will go to Mount Merry on 24th night. Most memorable Christmas was when I partied with my friends whole night had lot s of cakes

Jason Tham - When I was in Delhi we used to go for the midnight mass on 24th night and celebrate the 25th with family and relatives.When I was young my mom used to buy mini presents for the kids and I used to dress up as Santa and distribute all those presents. I used to hide all the big one for myself. We used to decorate house and Christmas tree.

Simple Kaul - I usually go to Bandra Church on Christmas. The festive feel in Bandra changes the mood dramatically and the whole Bandra looks so beautiful during Christmas. My fondest memory is when it was full moon night on Chritsmas few years back and it was perfect cold weather. I felt peace in the ambiance.

Janvi Vora - I love the festive spirit in Mumbai of Chritsmas. Bandra looks like a queen. I go there with my family. I also buy gifts for my daughter and myself. It’s a good feeling and family time.

Vivian Dsena - Christmas means celebrations of the festive spirit. I love to go to Mount Mary Church in Bandra with Vahbbiz. The atmosphere is very good. I feel positive vibes there.  Bandra feels like a colorful city in itself and red color dominates everywhere.

Himmanshu Soni - The fondest memory of Christmas is from Jaipur when I used to go to Church on Christmas day with my school classmates. I used to love eating plum cake.  Winters in Jaipur make everything look vibrant. Walking in fog to go to the church used to be fun.

Pratyusha Banerjee I go to Mount Mary church as a ritual every year. The place has peace. This year I will go with my boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. We both love to go to the Church and feel blessed.

Aniruddh Dave -  I have fond memories of Chritsmas from my school in Jaipur. We used to cut a huge Chritsmas cake and there used to be a Santa Clause who used to distribute chocolates. I would go to mount Mary Church and St. Andrews Church in Bandra.

Mohit Daga - Christsmas means eating lots of cakes, going to Church and partying with family and friends.  I would go out with my family to a church in Andheri. In the evening post shoot 

Siddhant Karnick - My special plan this year and every year for Christmas for the last three years has been to spend time with the little angels from Sneha sadan, an orphanage in Jogeshwari. I feel enriched with positivity, charm and love when I meet them for Christmas. This is usually followed by an evening with my parents where we celebrate their marriage anniversary. I will also be shooting in the morning where I celebrate what I do in life. Christmas for me is a feeling of being blessed to get all that I have in life.

Avinash Sachdev - As a child, Christmas was all about the Christmas tree, Santa Claus and most importantly gifts and friends. Now Christmas has become more about wining and dining in style. Christmas comes at a time when there’s a lovely nip in the air and I enjoy it a lot. I wish all my fans Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dalljiet Kaur - My father was in the army so Christmas parties used to be grand and I remember chasing Santa in the party and getting loads of gifts to take back home. My son and I have lots of plans for Christmas. I will take him to one of the parties where he will meet Santa and I shall be his Secret Santa who will shower him with gifts.
