TV this week: Sony at No.2, with 4 shows amongst the top 10

According to the latest TAM Star Plus is at number one spot with a GRP (Gross Rating Point) and Channel Share (CS) of 300 and 22.7 % respectively. The channel has three of its shows amongst the top 10 shows across channels which includes Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Pratigya.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) this week yet again has performed well across TAM's scale. The channel has maintained its position as the No.2 General Entertainment Channel (GEC). Pushing Colors to the No.3 position SET this week has a Gross Rating Point (GRP) and Channel Share (CS) of 258 and 19.6% respectively.

Moreover this week the channel has four of its chows amongst the top 10 show across all GECs. The channel's mega-offering Kaun Banega Crorepati is the number two show across all GECs with a TVR of 5.2%. While CID (TVR- 4.08%), Bade Ache Lagte Hain (TVR- 3.94%) and Crime Patrol (TVR- 3.56%) are placed at number 4, 5 and 9 respectively.

With an increased GRP of 249 and a CS of 18.9% Colors is at the number three position this week. Moreover, this week Balika Vadhu has been pushed to the number three spot with a TVR of 4.93%.While Uttaran with a TVR 3.92%) is placed at number 6.

Zee TV is at number four this week too with an increased GRP and CS of 198 and 15.0%. The channel has managed to get its show Pavitra Rishta at number seven with a TVR of 3.87.

SAB has retained its fifth position with a GRP of 117 and a CS of 8.9% and Imagine is positioned at number seven with a GRP and CS of 72 and 5.4% respectively. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
