TV this week: Star Plus tops the charts with 291 GRPs
Star Plus has not only taken the lead in Week 12 (March 17-23) of TAM 2013 but is also on the verge of achieving the 300 mark. With a remarkable GRP of 291, the channel’s lead margin too is widening with each passing week.
According to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets , both Zee and Colors at no. 2 and no. 3 respectively have added 5 points each to their previous week’s GRPs. Sony continues to be at no. 4 while SAB on the back of its most watched shows has overtaken Life OK in Week 12. Hence the former is now at no. 5 and the latter at no. 6 respectively.
With their fiction shows topping the list Star plus still leads at no. 1 and has added 18 points subsequently recording 291 GRPs (last week 273)
Zee TV adding 5 points to last weeks GRPs has garnered 207 GRPs in Week 12.
Colors, unable to touch the 200 mark for the second week in a row, garnered 192 GRPs this week as against last week’s 187.
Sony Entertainment Television lost 8 points and the channel’s GRPs have dipped in Week 12 to record 155 GRPs (last week 163)
SAB TV has garnered 142 GRPs (last week 135) thus overtaking Life OK to be in the 5th position.
Life OK now in 6th position lost 7 points and has recorded 128 GRPs as against 135 GRPs last week.
Star Utsav has gained 4 points in Week 12 thus garnering 54 GRPs (last week 50)
Bani the new fiction show which premiered on Colors’ on March 18 in the 10.30 pm slot, has averaged at 1.6 TVR in its first week.
The TVRs of the most watched shows on the GECs are as follows: Diya Aur Baati Hum the most watched show ,continues to remain ahead with 5.2 TVR. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which was in the third position in Week 11 has now grabbed the second place with 3.8 TVR. Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai remained third and fourth with 3.7 and 3.6 TVR, respectively and Balika Vadhu has dropped to the fifth place with 3.5 TVR. as per the data sourced from TAM subscribers in Week 12 of TAM 2013.
