TV this week: Star shines at the rating charts!

Despite all the controversies, TAM’s rating still matter and are awaited. In Week 23, Star Plus has again topped the charts to lead the with 242 GRPs though it lost seven points while Colors stuck to no 2 with 198 GRPs after adding 12 points. The thrd position was taken by Zee TV with 180 GRPs, gaining four points and the fourth slot was taken by Life OK and Sony Entertainment Television, with 149 GRPs each. Life Ok added 12 points during the week but Sony Entertainment Television lost five points this week. The sixth position was taken by SAB TV with 138 GRPs after losing seven points.

The toppers in terms of programs/shows were as under

Star Plus - Diya Aur Baati Hum 4.1 TVR; Yeh Rishta 3.1 TVR; Pyaar ka Dard to 3.0 TVR followed by Veera at 2.1 TVR.

Colors -Jhalak Diklaja generated a 2.4 TVR on Saturday and 2.3 TVR on Sunday; Balika Vadhu  2.8 TVR; Madhubala 2.9 TVR and Uttaran rated a 2.2 TVR.

Zee TV- DID Super Moms a 3 TVR on Saturday and 3.6 TVR on Sunday; Qubool Hai 2.9 TVR;  Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke 2.3 TVR; PunarVivaah 1.1 TVR.

Sony Entertainment- CID registered a 2.3 TVR; Crime Patrol rose a 1.7 TVR and Comedy Circus a 1.3 TVR. Its new historical show Maharana Pratap generated 1.3 TVR.

Life OK’s - Mahadev's maha-episode on Sunday generated a 4 TVR; Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath a 1.5 TVR.

Sab TV- Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah a 3.0 TVR.
