UK Elite Sports Group partners with Aditi Chauhan Foundation
UK Elite Sports Group (UKESG), a leading sports and educational organization working in the UK-India corridor, has entered into a new strategic partnership with Aditi Chauhan Foundation to provide exposure and opportunities to young athletes, especially girls in India.
This partnership will be an amalgamation of like-minded establishments with a special focus on sports at grass-root development, bilateral sports tour programmes and athlete’s exchange programmes. This partnership also announces Aditi Chauhan as the official global brand ‘Ambassador’ for UKESG.
UKESG is known for its high-quality bilateral sports tours for aspiring athletes and students. It enables participants to be independent thinkers, gives them access to diverse communities, and opens their minds to innovative ways of thinking to tackle global challenges. The focal point of the partnerships will be building grassroots football through Aditi Chauhan Foundation and UKESG will be playing an important role by supporting the Foundation with profile-raising, capacity building and fund-raising through its programme of activities and upcoming tours from India to the UK.
The Aditi Chauhan Foundation’s and SheKicksFA’s mission and vision is to encourage maximum participation of girls in football and create a supportive environment around them. Promoting gender equality and providing financial assistance, employment, and physical training to women players, as well as guidance and career counselling to educate and create awareness among parents of women players is at the forefront.
Talking about the same Aditi Chauhan, the CEO of Aditi Chauhan Foundation and also the brand ambassador of UKESG said, “I think the partnership with UKESG will benefit the Indian football community on a large scale, it will help the development of grassroots in India.”
Adding further she said, “I met Lakbir Singh, Chief Operating Officer for UKESG in London when I had travelled there to receive the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sports’ award organized by NISAU and from our initial conversations we realized we had similar intentions and interests in contributing towards the development of sports in India. I am delighted to partner with UKESG through my foundation to provide more exposure and opportunities to young athletes, especially girls in India.”
Chris Vertannes, CEO, UKESG, said, “We are delighted and indeed honoured to announce Aditi Chauhan as our Global Brand Ambassador for UKESG. We share a tremendous passion for providing girls and women with a safe and enjoyable environment in which to learn and develop their skills. We will continue on our collective mission to help increase participation in Girls and Women’s Football and ensure players receive the appropriate level of coaching.
This means that from the beginner to the advanced levels, players will benefit from a structured coaching programme to help them become the best they can be. Through our collaboration, we will also work together on the upskilling of female football coaches both here in the UK and in India. On behalf of our entire team at UKESG, we extend a very warm welcome to Aditi and her team at the Aditi Chauhan Foundation and SheKicksFA”.
