UTV announces release date for Rowdy Rathore

UTV Motion Pictures today announced the release date for Rowdy Rathore as June 1st 2012.

Directed by Prabhudeva, Rowdy Rathore stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is a remake of the superhit Telugu film Vikramarkudu, which was also remade in Tamil as Siruthai, another superhit. The film will see Akshay Kumar back in his original action avatar. The film has music by the hit duo Sajid Wajid.
