Vivek Agnihotri's The Delhi Files unveils truth about women's struggles
Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is a brave storyteller who has always presented hard-hitting truths to audiences through his films. Continuing this streak, he is set to release his next film, The Delhi Files, which will further shed light on some unknown and unexplored real-life truths and facts. Moreover, as much as he portrays harsh realities in his films, he never misses a chance to address them in real life as well. A testament to this was seen when he brought attention to a brutal case of a girl's murder in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal.
Taking to social media, filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri shared a newspaper clipping of a gruesome incident in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, where a tribal girl's body was found floating in a pond, tied and gagged. He further wrote in the caption:
"From Direct Action Day to the present, the brutal crimes against Hindus, especially hapless women, have not stopped. For too long, the gruesome and painful story of Bengal has remained untold.
