Yami Gautam on Dhoom Dhaam: "The whole idea is to surprise the audience"

Yami Gautam, known for her impeccable performances and intelligent film choices, is set to surprise audiences once again. After delivering power-packed roles in Article 370 and A Thursday, the versatile actress is now embracing a refreshing change with Dhoom Dhaam, a new-age rom-com with a twist.
In a recent interview, Yami shared her thought process behind choosing the film, stating: "Can you surprise the audience? Can you be unpredictable for them when they're expecting something else? If we manage to do that once the film is released, then our job is done. The whole idea is giving something unexpected."

She further elaborated on why Dhoom Dhaam excited her, adding:"I think it's a very dying genre, and this is a new-age rom-com in the space of caper comedy. Very commercial, family entertainer, and cracking, which was a challenge for us. Neither the film was easy, nor the music album. I genuinely enjoyed the music as well, and I think the masses will love it."
Directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Aditya Dhar, Dhoom Dhaam is set to premiere on Netflix on February 14. The fresh pairing of Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi has already sparked excitement, with fans eagerly awaiting another stellar performance from the actress who continues to redefine versatility in Bollywood.
