Zee TV launches thriller series 'Keshav Pandit'

The Hindi general entertainment channel Zee TV has launched "Keshav Pandit' - television adaptation of the best-selling novels by the famous Writer Ved Prakash Sharma. "Keshav Pandit', is targeted at the entire family, with complete drama and entertainment. The character of Keshav Pandit, played by Sarwar Ahuja, will represent a mix of "Amitabh Bachchan of 70s and Robinhood'. Starting May 15th every Saturday, at 8.30 p.m., "Keshav Pandit' will bring stories that will be high on intrigue and entertainment.

Nitin Vaidya, COO, ZEEL and Business Head, Zee TV, said, "With the launch of Keshav Pandit, we foray into an entirely new genre on television. Our previous venture with Balaji Telefilms, "Pavitra Rishta', has given us great results and we expect a path breaking success thorough "Keshav Pandit' as well. The acute suspense and interesting insights on the Law & Order of the country brought in by the show will keep the audiences hooked throughout the episodes. We are also happy to introduce Sarwar Ahuja, our yet another find from Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj."

Sarwar Ahuja, the winner of "Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj' is playing the title character of Keshav Pandit. About his selection for the role, Ekta said, "The character of Keshav Pandit required to be played by a typical North Indian guy with broad shoulders and a matured face. Sarvar fits the role very well and hence has done complete justice to the character which is very relatable to the common man."
