ZenithOptimedia won highest number businesses among agencies: R3 study

Having recently won accounts such as Swarovski Asia Pacific; Usha International; and Godfrey Philips; ZenithOptimedia has been granted the cachet of being the agency that secured the highest number of businesses in the January-October 2009 period.

The standing of ZenithOptimedia, with its estimated YTD billings of Rs 446.5 crore, was corroborated by the R3 study. The second spot has been taken by Mindshare, whose recent accounts acquisitions include Milestone Interactive, Steel Authority of India, and Xenos Technologies. Wins such as Dr Morepan; Tata Asia Pacific; and Symantec Asia Pacific; have put MPG in the third position.

The number 4 spot has been annexed by OMD, the fastest mover in October 2009. OMD, which was in the eighth place last month, was recently entrusted with the Vodafone regional business. OMD is trailed by MEC, at number 5; its wins include Ruchi Soya, Nationalist Congress Party, and the Karnataka Government.
