Could you provide an overview of Zuper Hotels and resorts and its core services?
A young hotel management company currently managing some of India's most unique resorts. With a history of over a decade, Zuper stands as a competitive brand that takes hold of every department. It is a one-stop solution for anyone looking for hospitality across various levels, strategically planning, marketing, branding and enhancing every facility to provide premier experiences. To date, it has several firsts to its credit through innovative brand engagement and enthralling appeal to engage the right audiences.
What are the biggest challenges that you have faced since its inception, and how did you overcome them?
While challenges are pathways to growth, Zuper had its own share of impediments. Some of the biggest challenges were primarily arriving at a balance between costs and service delivery while staying true to current market trends and investing in the right technology. In all this, efficient operation management and exceeding guest expectations are apparent requirements of the hospitality industry. Achieving cohesiveness among all these elements was definitely a big challenge.
Who are Zuper main competitors, and how do you view their impact on your market strategy?
Zuper has carved a niche for itself by offering the best combination of boutique and luxury stays. In hospitality for standalone resorts, we do not see competitors as such but surely see positive challenges in the market, and we are absolutely ready to overcome and surpass them.
How do you differentiate Zuper Hotels and resorts from other resorts, and what unique value do you offer to customers?
Zuper organizes nature-centric facilities and includes unique stay experiences that truly keep the guests engaged. From wildlife safaris, island stays and thrilling adventures to signature experiences, the company has always considered distinctiveness a part of its agenda. Managing some of the best conceptual resorts in the country, the menu of properties is diverse, sometimes even leaving guests wondering what to choose. We brand the hotels and resorts with their own names without overshadowing them over the group names or international group chains. Our flexibility & business process are indeed add-ons for people who wish to build a known name in the hotel industry. We look at serving experiential hospitality to our clientele alongside making the hotel/resort a healthy asset of goodwill for the owners.
What are your plans for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities?
Zuper aims to expand its presence to accentuate the otherwise overlooked specialties of tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The idea is to dwell in the rugged interiors of India, which offer scenic beauty and breathtaking vistas yet to be explored. We want to dive deep into hospitality with these cities, as major companies do not target these areas, but they do have potential scope.
We are aiming to expand to 25 brands under our bucket until the financial year 2025-26.

What are your plans for Zuper Hotels & Resorts, and where do you see the company in the next five years?
Zuper is soon going to steal the limelight with its much-awaited Stone Water Resort & Spa in Karjat. The resort encompasses 126 rooms, 30 of which have private access to pools. Guests can also enjoy a two-tier swimming pool spanning 120 ft, overlooking the river. A banquet area of 12,000 sq. ft. is apt for weddings and events. Another upcoming resort, which is soon to become popular, contains a lazy river. Additionally, guests also find a choice in a resort overlooking the Sahyadri Range, containing 12 exclusive rooms on 4 acres of land. Thus, Zuper sets different sets of unique standards with our distinctive hospitality strategies. In the next five years, we are poised to improve the levels of stay, tourism, and hospitality.
