Aaj Tak partners with MMT & Explurger for Mahakumbh Creator Lounge

MakeMyTrip, an online travel company, has joined forces with Hindi news channel Aaj Tak to elevate the cultural and spiritual grandeur of Mahakumbh Mela 2025. In partnership with Explurger, a cutting-edge social media platform for travellers, the collaboration introduces the first-of-its-kind Influencer Lounge, offering creators a unique space to capture and share the essence of the world’s largest religious gathering.
The Influencer Lounge, strategically located at Triveni Road, Parade Ground (near the LIC Pavilion), spans 2,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to empower digital influencers. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until February 26, 2025, the lounge offers high-speed internet, modern content creation tools, and a comfortable setting for storytelling. Creators from diverse backgrounds are invited to leverage this space to amplify the spiritual and cultural significance of the Mahakumbh on global digital platforms.


Designed to accommodate over 60 creators, the lounge features a dedicated stage for live shows, podcast recordings, and interactive sessions with celebrity influencers like Tanya Khanijow, Ganesh Vanare, Surya, Amit Saxena, and Aditya Maurya. This collaborative initiative bridges tradition and technology, enabling influencers to create captivating content that reflects the unity, faith, and soul purification symbolized by the Mahakumbh.
The Mahakumbh Mela 2025 is especially unique, taking place under rare celestial alignments, marking it as a once-in-144-years event. This year’s gathering is expected to attract over 400 million pilgrims during its 45-day span, making it the largest religious gathering in history.
