Heavenandhome.com is an online home and living e-commerce portal that magazine was launched with an aim to bring the highest quality of home and lifestyle products to Indian consumers ' that too at amazing discount.
With the online magazine also to go with, the company was founded by Tushar Ahluwalia, Nishrit Shrivastva, Sunnyraj Agarwal and Tara Kaushal and is backed by a European Venture Capital fund.
Nishrit Shrivastva, in a candid chat with Adgully, explains as to why home and living industry may well turn out to be the next big thing.
"While there have been numerous portals on electronics and fashion, which keep on coming, the home and living industry has surprisingly stayed back. Our idea was to make people shop easily for such products as well," says Shrivastva.
Besides having a portal on home décor, the heavenandhome.com also gives tips on how to make the house look nice. "We also give tips on how one can make their home look nice whether its spring, summer or winter," he says.
Heaven & Home's inspirational magazine sets the tone for the shopping experience, where a range of personally selected products from internationally acclaimed brands are available through an exclusive shopping club at great discounts!
"We want the consumers should know what they are buying and so we pay a lot of attention towards visuals. We wanted to make it feel like a boutique and so we make sure our entire set of pictures is high quality which is a challenge as brands do not have desired pictures so we do all photo shoots ourselves," he says.
Terming it as a retail space that's unknown and untapped, Shrivastva feels that nobody knows how big this market is. The home and living retail space is so unknown and untapped. "It's huge though as we have so many vendors in this space but people are still unaware," he says.
He believes that in this era of digitalization it is so easy to get customers on an online retail portal as it is a faster growing market and also it becomes convenient for the customers to shop online rather go to a store.
And in India the slowly more and more people are entering this domain. "All the markets like fashion, electronics etc. are well tapped but home and living market that is huge is still untapped and there is a lot of gaps and space in this particular domain," he says.
"Indian consumers are moving online and want to buy conveniently. Today it's not about how many people are buying are product but it's about where there are going to buy," he adds.
Though still in early stages, heavenandhomes.com has been really active in promotions and offers. "It's more of a shopping club and though we are not going huge but want people to discover us and have lot of customers coming who are inviting a lot more," he says.
They are also planning to move on to furniture segment as well as the vertical seems to be growing at a faster rate.
