Aditya Tandon steps down from Network18 after nearly 12 years
Aditya Tandon has decided to step down from Network18 after nearly 12 years, according to sources close to Adgully. At Network18, Tandon oversaw the marketing of the Hindi cluster, which includes seven national and regional news channels.
Speculation suggests that Tandon is likely to join Zee Media. A seasoned marketing professional, he brings over two decades of international experience in building and managing brands. Previously, he served as the Director of Strategy and Marketing at Directi, where he played a key role in launching bigrock.com, the group's entry into the B2C segment. He also established the company’s marketing operations, including onboarding creative and media agencies.
Between June and December 2009, Tandon led the Service Marketing vertical as DGM at Videocon Mobile. Prior to that, he was the Chief Manager at The Times of India for a year. His earlier experience includes his role as Senior Brand Manager at The Financial Express, where he managed the brand's national strategy, campaign execution, media planning, market research, sales promotions, events, and partnerships.
