After Zomato CEO, Shaadi.com Founder Anupam Mittal seeks 'Chief of Staff'

Social media was recently buzzing with surprise after Deepinder Goyal, Zomato CEO shared a job post where he was seeking candidates who will contribute INR 20 lakh to work in Zomato for a year as the Chief of Staff.

This position provides the chosen individual an opportunity to contribute to Zomato's significant initiatives: Hyperpure, Blinkit, and Feeding India. Designed as an intensive educational journey, it offers a challenging and enriching experience comparable to that of a top-tier MBA program.

The 20 lakh will  go towards Feeding India, a charity sponsored by Zomato. While netizens poured in their thoughts on the same and  apparently Zomato  received over 18,000 job applications with some backlash on social media, Shaadi.com Founder Anupam Mittal  also joined in the brandwagon. In his Linkedin profile, he shared a quirky post extending invitation to individuals to apply for the 'Chief of Staff' position in case they are not able to pay INR 20 lakh to his friend Deepinder Goyal.

He posted on his Linkedin: "All those who can't afford to pay my friend Deepi 20 lacs, pls send me your application. I am looking for a Chief of Staff too ? although I don't know exactly what one does, I figure it can be your first assignment" followed by a step by step guide to submit application for the 'Chief of Staff' position along with the job requirements which included a 6 months probation period as 'Chief of What' before working out of the actual office in Mumbai.

Its yet to be seen how many job applications Shaadi.com receives for the same!. Goyal on the other hand clarified that the INR 20 lakh fee was a screening test that will not be executed in real.
