Akshay to endorse Micromax
The international khiladi Akshay Kumar is all set to be the face of the Indian mobile brand Micromax.
According to the reports, the company has roped in Akshay Kumar as the face for the brand. According to the reports, the brand never had a brand ambassador since 1991. But this year as the brand has given creative account to Lowe Lintas, the brand is looking at a more active marketing communication.
Reports say that the comany aims to connect with youth and that is why it carry the tagline Inventing Surprises. The company has also set aside Rs 100 crore for advertising. Out of which Rs 60 crore will be used for above above the line advertising, Rs 40 crore will go towards below-the-line activities.
