Anupriya Acharya steps down as Independent Director on DB Corp Board

Anupriya Acharya, CEO - South Asia, Publicis Groupe, has tendered her resignation from the position of Independent Director on the Board of Directors of DB Corp due to preoccupation and other professional commitments.

DB Corp informed the bourses about Acharya’s resignation as required under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. DB Corp further informed that Consequently, she will also cease to be the chairperson/ member of the Committees of the Board – which includes Chairperson – Audit Committee, Chairperson – Nomination & Remuneration Committee, Chairperson – Corporate Social responsibility Committee, and Member – Compensation Committee.

In her letter to the DB Corp Board, Acharya stated that her resignation would be effective from the closure of business hours on May 15, 2025. “Due to my preoccupation and other professional commitments, I am unable to continue and hence, hereby tender my resignation from the position of Independent Director of the Company,” wrote Acharya, adding, “I confirm that there are no other material reasons for my resignation other than those mentioned above.”

“I further confirm that I neither hold any directorship nor any membership of board committees in any of the listed entities except DB Corp Limited,” Acharya further stated.
