LIC elevates Vivek Paul & Govind Agarwal to Senior Management Positions
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has elevated two officials to Senior Management Personnel (SMP) positions, according to an announcement made on April 9, 2025.
Vivek Paul has been appointed as Additional Director (Management Development Centre), Mumbai. Previously, he held the position of Regional Manager (Pension & Group Schemes) at the Zonal Office in Delhi. Mr. Paul's career with LIC began in 1989, and his 36 years of service include experience in administrative functions and insurance marketing.
Govind Prasad Agarwal has been named Additional Executive Director (Marketing/Product Development), Central Office, Mumbai. He was formerly Chief (Digital Marketing) at the Central Office in Mumbai. Mr. Agarwal joined LIC in 1991 and has 34 years of experience in the corporation, with a background in insurance marketing and various operational departments.
Both appointments took effect on April 9, 2025.
