Blouse ke liye urvashi ka mahayudh

Fights between the production house and actors are legendary because both parties feel that expectations are not met from either side.

When production houses rub seniors actors like Urvashi Dholakia the wrong way, the result is usually tumultuous. Urvashi lost her fuse on the sets of Zee TV’s Apno Ke Liye Geeta Ka Dharmayudh when she found out that only 4 blouses have been stitched for her for the entire season to team up with saris. Hearing this, she stormed out of the sets and refused to come till the production house got her new set of matching blouses with the saris.

Urvashi said, 'Initially I thought that after a month or two they will get fresh costumes, but I was aghast to find that even after repeated warnings. They did not pay any heed to what I have asked for and on top of that expected me to wear the same set of blouses with every possible color of sari that you can think of. It’s just not done…I care for my screen persona and do not want to be seen like a mismatched kaleidoscope where people watch me on screen for almost half hour and they start having an optical illusion.'

We hope the people concerned have got the message and will make sure Urvashi does not look like sorry in a sari on screen.
