PIX to entertain viewers with premium films right after the IPL matches

While the IPL entertains one and all with nail biting cricketing action, PIX promises to keep the excitement going with its very own PIX Premier League (PPL) - a series of 60 premium movie titles airing at 11.15 p.m. every night throughout the IPL season. Entertainment will continue even after the match with PIX Premier League as some of the hottest names in Hollywood deliver an adrenaline rush like no other!

 

Films such as Vacancy 2: The First Cut, Perfect Stranger, Underworld: Evolution, Turistas, Did you hear about the Morgans?, Red Cliff, Anacondas: The hunt for the blood orchid, Armored, Wild Things: Foursome, Taxi Driver, Resident Evil, The Bounty Hunter, Curse of the Golden Flower, The Book of Eli, Hitch, Hisss, American Pie, Hot Tub Time Machine and Exorcism of Emily Rose will be airing as a part of the PPL line up.

 

Featuring the Who’s Who of Hollywood like Halle Berry, Bruce Willis, Jennifer Aniston, Gerard Butler, Kate Bekinsale, Hugh Grant, Robert De Niro, Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Smith, Eva Mendes and Matt Dillon, PIX will air 60 movies at 11.15 p.m., right after the day’s IPL match.

 

PPL has a new face this year- none other than the inimitable Navjot Singh Siddhu. Commenting on his role in promoting the electrifying PPL, the ever enthusiastic Navjot Singh Siddhu, former cricketer of the Indian Cricket team says, “I always have fun trying new things and this is association with PIX has been very exciting! The promotion for this year’s PPL season is based on ‘Sidhuism's’ which will highlight Siddhu’s widely popular witty one liners. PPL will also give its viewers the chance to win tickets to IPL matches (based on a contest) for all the games!
