BURGS ropes in Subroto Mukherjee as COO

A veteran to the hospitality industry, Subroto Mukherjee, formerly the COO of Baskin Robbins now lends his skills and proficiency to leading BURGS. Appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for BURGS, Mukherjee plans on making the brand synonymous to burgers.

BURGS, an initiation of the industrialist, Sanjay Kilachand, has been brought to the Indian market with a view of introducing the concept of gourmet burgers to its consumers. An Indian breed brand, Kilachand aspires to expand to around 25 outlets, spreading across India, under the leadership of Mukherjee.

“With his robust approach and passion, and not to forget the years of experience to back him up, we couldn’t pick a better man than Subroto Mukherjee to head this brand” states Kilachand.
Thriving in the Hospitality industry for over 20 years and having hotel majors like The Leela Kempinski, ITC, Park Plaza hotels, Pizza Express and his last assignment as COO of Baskin Robbins to add to his credentials, Mukherjee only considers this a peak in his career.

“After being proficient in the hospitality industry, moving from F&B verticals to operations, taking on an assignment like BURGS excites me. This task puts to test all my acquired knowledge over the years and this challenge itself is what keeps me motivated” says Mukherjee.
