Charuta Ambardekar Saoji quits L'Oréal; joins Colors Viacom 18

Charuta Ambardekar Saoji  has moved on from L'Oréal after serving there for four years. As per industry sources, she has joined Viacom18  as the Head of Marketing and Vice President at Colors.

In a Linkedin post  she shared: "After a fabulous ~4 years, the time has come to move on from L'Oréal. It was an incredible privilege to have been a core part of L’Oréal Paris' and Garnier's stellar market-beating growth journeys. A dozen launches, a load of wins and so many learnings for eternity. And above all, it was an absolute honor to have worked with some of the brightest and the warmest people. As I move on to my next adventure, I hope I retain the obsession with beauty in everything I do, stay ahead of the curve on consumer trends and forever find newer ways to engage. Bonne chance! Au revoir!."

Saoji  has joined L'Oreal in 2020 as the AGM Marketing for L'Oréal Paris, later transitioning as the AGM Marketing for Garnier. Prior to this she was the Marketing Manager at Unilever where she served for a period of 8 years. She was also the Assistant Product Manager for Compan at HJ Heinz. Before joining HJ Heinz, she was the Area Sales Manager at Reckitt Benckiser. She has started her career as a Summer Trainee at Avaya GlobalConnect, and  later also worked in The Coca Cola company as a Summer Trainee.

She is an alumnus of Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and her expertise lies in consumer marketing from strategy to deployment, and right from designing packaging to managing P&L, from creating advertisements to deploying media, from growing brands to growing businesses.
