Colors joins hands with IPL

The leading Hindi general entertainment channel Colors has joined hands with Indian Premier League.

The channel has found the best solution to retain its top position, as the viewership of hindi entertainment channels drip during the IPL matches. The channel has entered a three-year entertainment licensing deal with the Indian Premier League.

According to the reports this deal will enable the channel to launch new entertainment initiatives to attract more fans.

The channel is planning to make the IPL a full year affiar than a just one month, as the properties the channel has planned will make it look like a full year affair. The properties will air not only during the IPL matches but afterwards also.
