Tata Teleservices attracts 3.3mn subscribers

Tata Teleservices Ltd has become the number one operator, as the company has attracted 3.3 million subscribers in the month of December.

The company has added a huge segment of people for the fifth consecutive time. According to the reports, with this new subscribtion, Tata Teleservices has overtaken the biggies like

BSNL, to become the fifth largest telecom firm in terms of subscriber additions, with over 57 million subscribers as on December 2009.

Reports say that Tata Teleservices' newly launched DoCoMo brand has captured the subscriber base for the company. Earlier Idea had grabbed the fourth position replacing BSNL.
