Discovery to pay a tribute to the victims of 26/11

As the date of India's biggest terror attacks is drawing closer all the channels are announcing their respective series created on the incident that rocked the country for three days.

Like other channels Discovery is also airing a special programme called Surviving Mumbai on the anniversary of the 26/11 attack.

The programme will be aired on November 26 at 8 pm with an aim to bring together candid and personal accounts from people who were caught in the siege.

Readings from the actual transcript of phone calls between the gunmen and their commanders and CCTV footage from the hotels will give the chilling account of the real story.

The terror attacks in Mumbai on November 26 last year goes down as one of the darkest days in India's history. The events that transpired, held the world's attention for three continuous days, and left people shocked and horrified in the months that followed.

Surviving Mumbai chronicles the events of the attack, featuring personal accounts from people who were caught in the siege.

The one-hour programme reveals never-seen-before footage from amateur cameras and mobiles. The show will also look at the dramatic role that modern communications played - mobile phones, the Internet and 24-hour television news.
