Dubai Police dismantle massive IPTV Piracy Operation after Disney Star complaint

Disney Star India is taking a strong stance against piracy, and their latest move is making waves internationally. They have joined forces with Dubai police to crack down on a rogue IPTV provider, that was selling IPTV boxes containing 12,000 pirated premium channels and content. The boxes were being sold for Rs 5,750, with an additional Rs 2,300 for access to the application. This operation not only seized the IPTV boxes but also led to the arrest of a notorious pirate responsible for distributing pirated content to a large number of users as per sources.

But that's not all - Disney Star's anti-piracy team is working closely with law enforcement agencies in the MENA region to tackle piracy. Their efforts have already led to the shutdown of illegal streaming websites broadcasting ICC T20 World Cup matches, including magicwin.games, which were also promoting illegal betting activities.

Disney Star is part of a larger coalition fighting piracy. They've joined the International Broadcaster Coalition Against Piracy (IBCAP), which provides anti-piracy protection services and solutions for popular channels from India, including Star Plus, Star Bharat, and Star Gold. Other major players in the entertainment industry, such as Netflix, Amazon, and Sony Pictures, have also formed alliances to combat piracy.

It's clear that Disney Star India is serious about protecting their content and setting an example for others in the industry. Their efforts, combined with the help of law enforcement agencies, are making a significant impact in the fight against piracy.
