Edelman taps Christiane Schulz as APAC COO

Edelman has named Christiane Schulz as its new Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific, effective April 1st. Reporting to APAC CEO Rakesh Thukral, Schulz will focus on operational excellence and regional growth.

Schulz, previously CEO of Edelman Germany since 2019, successfully expanded the firm's presence and drove business growth. Her experience also includes six years as CEO of Weber Shandwick Germany.

Thukral highlighted Schulz's experience in leading teams and building client partnerships, crucial for strengthening Edelman's APAC operations.
This appointment follows recent leadership changes at Edelman, including Delicia Tan's expanded role as CEO for Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and Julia Wei's departure.
